Any GWR client can file an appeal or complaint. These complaints must
be done in writing so a record can be kept. The complaint or
appeal must be submitted to the Vice President for review and
investigation. The client will be informed of all action taken.
Corrective Action:
If during any phase of the assessment process (excluding Pre-Assessment) an
auditor identifies non-conformities, the client will be notified of the
severity and given 30 days for corrective action. GWR reserves the
right to determine adequacy of corrective action.
Publication of Registration:
GWR maintains a current listing of all organizations it has
registered. This list contains the client name, registration
location, and the standard and scope of the registration. GWR will
make public announcements of the issuance, renewal or withdrawal of
registrations.
Changes to Registration requirements and procedures:
GWR shall communicate to all registered clients any changes to requirements
or procedures. GWR will give each client a reasonable amount of
time to document and implement the change.
Confidentiality:
All information provided to GWR by the client is determined to be
confidential and proprietary. Information collected during the
assessment process will be treated with the utmost care as to maintain
confidentiality. Each GWR assessor is required to sign a
confidentiality statement before performing any assessment function for
GWR. The only information that will become public is after
registration, the information provided on the application will be public
information.
Conflict of Interest:
GWR performs no consulting services. GWR assessment team members shall
have no current consulting ties with the GWR client. No GWR
assessment team member shall have performed consulting functions for the
client within the previous 2 years. All GWR assessment team
members are required to provide GWR with real or perceived conflict of
interest issues before performing the assessment for the GWR client.
Transfer of Registration:
Potential clients who wish to transfer their registration to GWR may do so by
completing the applicatoin for registration. An estimate of
services will be sent. If the client agrees to a transfer
assessment they can do so by signing a contract and submitting their
quality manual and previous assessment reports. The Registration
manager will determine at what point in the registration cycle the
client currently holds registration. A Lead Assessor will be
assigned. At a minimum, the elements of Management Review,
Corrective Action and Internal Audits will be reviewed. This will
normally be a on-day Transfer of Registration Assessment and can be
completed during the client surveillance. If the Lead Assessor
feels more information is needed to determine the compliance for the
client QMS to the requirements of the standard, the Registration manager
will negotiate the amount of days needed with the Lead Assessor and the
client. The normal process for the issuance of registration will
then follow.
Clients with Multiple Locations:
If a client is operating a number of facilities and all are controlled
under the same quality management system and do substantially the same
work, GWR may assess the various facilities on a sample basis.
This sample is determined by using the ISO/IEC17021:2006, AS9104 and
AS9014.
Withdrawal or Suspension of Registration:
Once an organization is registered, they can use the GWR mark on advertising
materials, letterhead or electronic media. The use of the mark is
to indicate that the client QMS is compliant with ISO standards.
It is not to be used on products, or to give the impression that
products or services provided under the quality management system is
free from defect. GWR does not register the client product, only
the Quality Management System for which products are produced. If
infraction of the use of mark is made by a registered client, the
management of GWR will notify the Management Representative by means of
corrective action request.
The client shall have 30 days to correct the problem and issue corrective
action. GWR reserves the right to suspend or withdraw registration
for any of the following:
a) Misuse of the GWR mark, or
b) Major non-conformities found during surveillance, or
c) Nonpayment for services.
